I see no difference with prl but my service has almost doubled in the past two weeks. I now get 5 up and down which is a huge increase for me. Haha.

What is this for? And can you do it on any rom?

PRL stands for preferred roaming list it's actually an actualization of signal to optimize signal and improve speeds and provide us with the latest signal blanket to cover the area you on, and yes you can apply it to any rom just dial *228 follow the instructions or just dial 5 the phone will update and reboot that's all then go into settings about phone and check status look for prl 2034 and you are golden

I didnt have to reboot i dont think this is necessary.
Right after I updated I saw significant speed increases

When I read this was available I ran tests before and after. 5 tests each and here are the results.

PRL 2032: Averaged 3.292 mb/s in Napa, California
PRL 2034: Averaged 3.946 mb/s in Napa, California

So some improvement, still drops to 1x. Got a new thread about that here.

Yup my wife and I both have it. Although a few times the past couple days we have had complaints from folks we are talking to stating the call is very muffled and spotty broken up while I am on speaker phone and my wife has been to the same while on here earpiece via blue tooth. Anyone else had these problems. Seems like the reception was better prior to Jb.
