Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [ROM][OFFICIAL]CarbonRom 4.3

Hey guys, just wondering, when you update from one nightly version to a newer nightly version, what do you have to do? just wipe cache partition and dalvik cache? or are there other things you have to do?
 
Tried this ROM and its awesome the only thing I need is DPI settings! And it will be even better. Anyone know if there's a way to add DPI settings
 
so i love my aosp and i loved this rom while i was on it but i went back to touchwiz because of mms compression issues...
does anyone know if that is still an issue? mms on aosp would literally compress the crap out of my images to the point they were un-viewable

I am running Slim and haven't had any compression issues, at least not that I am aware of.
 
Anyone having nfc issues?? They grey out once I tap it on the setting menu yet they never seems to work. Reboot doesn't fix it either
 
So im getting this thing where every once in a while my phones screen will turn completely black and id have to pull the battery in order to see my phone again. Is this a known issue? anyway on how to fix this? im also getting random reboots but that is not as important to me because i count on my phone to wake me up every morning lol and it sort of didnt accomplish that today since i had to pull battery when i woke up >:O
 
in response to my last post. I tried changing the kernel. Im using leankernel now and the problem is less frequent but still there. Anybody has any idea on what to do?

Don't have this issue and I've been on the latest nightly. Don't want to sound too general but maybe a wipe and flash?

Btw mate can you check if your nfc is working?
 
I too would like to know when they're going to bring out a full stable release of 4.3 will come out, its been quite awhile since the last release came out
 
Is there a way to have split sms numbered? I did it once before but cant figure it out now. Been searching forever lol
i mean like (1/6) (2/6) etc..

Thanks. I followed that and have been at Carbon start up screen for almost 15 minutes now the letters glow and change colors...should I try again?
