That was a good 1first version(and hadn't flashed any since) that I tried but I wanted this 1 to get a hint of what kitkat was like before I buy my nexus 5
 
Do i need to flash the gapps with this rom? and there are 2 types nightly and release. I am thinking its the nightly build. I just need to clairify before I flash. Thanks a million....also what do I need to download for mms to work im hearing to revert back to the old gapps? Again thanks alot guys.

This guy speaks the true. Being trying to get a stable 4.4 version on S3 metropcs (always name it because people tend to talk about other provides when we actually mean FOR METROPCS SIII!). Very unstable actually.

Camera freezes the phone and crashes, and reboots in a loop forever.

I tried another version before and MMS did not work.

Haven't had to many issues camera has worked the 2 times I used it over a few weeks time it's restarted I think 3 times due to freezing that occurred doing random things I know 2 times was because of my music player not sure of the other time out times all and all out works for me but maybe now that they landed a phone to do pre-install on (granted it's an off brand name phablet) maybe things will continue to get better
 
I was was having crash boot loop as well on cm-11-20140120. It seemed like it was crashing right when the LTE was starting up. When I disabled it the phone didn't crash. Had to roll back to cm-11-20140118 to get a working phone again.

Also, I see a new gapps on the cm11 wiki page. Gapps 20140105. I installed it and it removed one of the 2 launchers. I had. For some reason when I first installed cm11 I had 2 launchers, one was 'launcher3' with a house icon and the other was just called 'launcher' with a blue circle icon with a white house outline. All I know is the that one of them had Google cards built into the far left screen. The new gapps I mentioned removed a launcher. What's up with that?

Is someone tried the new CM11 d2lte for all US carriers together all in one build, No more different build for each US carriers, so if someone tried it please let me know how is it.
 
Tried it today , seems to run fine other then the MMS doesn't work but that's the same problem with cm 11 d2mtr.

Other then that installed and ran good.
 
its due to teh changes they made, metropcs needs mms_config to work. in the new consolidated builds they dont have it, ive talked with invisiblek. if you want mms working (and this will affect all aosp roms soon enough) then he needs your help fixing it for you guys. he doesnt have this phone so if mms doesnt get fixed it wont bother him much, so its up to you guys to help test and provide some solid feedback to him :)

SGS3 irc channel is where he hangs out.
 
I have been all about this Rom but lately I haven't seen any nightly updates in like six days when I check for updates it says no updates maybe there haven't been any not sure
 
The nightly updates r only coming after you flash lte update first time I did it it said lte but was for another device went back yesterday clicked the same link and it gave me the correct zip and it flashed ok things worked but after trying gummy it had more options so went back to it but just grab the lte zip for gs3 u will b good to go
