I have tested it and it boots up just fine to get service you will have to go to settings/more/mobile networks and change CDMA subscription to NV and reboot. There's omni ROM too that should work haven't tried it tho.
 
i noticed that it gives you a link to the bms kernel,my question is,if its really necesary to flash that kernel and if so what version of it should we flash sprint,verizon...etc?
 
You don't need the kernel but can flash it if u want im currently running it. It's for all d2 devices.
 
Ran good for me , seems to be just like everything else floating around , mms didn't work for me so I went back to #2
 
Download this mms_config.xml https://www.dropbox.com/s/ztfdpw2yle8norf/mms_config.xml copy aosp mms.apk to sd card download zarchiver from playstore open mms.apk with zarchiver click view go into res/xml click the + icon and add the mms_config.xml that u just downloaded. copy mms.apk back to system and reboot.
 
You would have to sign the apk to install it like a regular app. Move the apk to your system/priv-app folder and replace the old apk and reboot.
 
Thanks for your quick response, well i tried putting the modified apk in the priv-app folder as I deleted the old MMS.apk but , even thou its there its still not installed, and what do you mean by signing the app? Whats the best method to do that?
 
Don't understand why it wouldn't show up. Did you set permissions to rwrr and reboot? Try this for signing the apk https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kellinwood.zipsigner2
 
ok it turns out it was the proper permission issue after all, but i got it working now and its flawless, thanks to your advise, thanks alot
 
how has this rom been running so far does the 4g and mms work?? if so plz someone give me clear instructions on how to install it
 
Trying that mms trick to c if I can get it to work can't get it to overwrite the old one or install file change in the mms app went ok but just stick at the overwriting old one lol n/m I downed root explorer and it went through fine
 
after trying all the kit kat roms i must say that this is the best kit kat rom period, everything working and no bugs or issues to report been my daily driver for almost 2 months already and don't plan to change it unless a new Android version comes up
 
I've been using it since it came out, and have never had any problems.In my opinion it's the best KK rom available to us, and the most stable.
