Same thing happened to me too. Black screen with the soft keys lit up.
Weird.

Well could be new twrp is doing it for u or its in the script either one of those two. What's it doing is replacing system and of course that's where your gapps located.
 
From the sites the theme manager suggests, seems pretty limited. I guess you download themes and pull individual elements to customize?
 
I flashed the ROM and liked it until I made some phone calls, used the speaker phone and the calls would drop and the phone would reboot.
 
Yesterday I came across a new version of Chameleon at Goo Im. So far seems to be working good. One thing I noticed is that, while on a call and connected to bluetooth, my calls kept dropping. At least the phone isn't rebooting anymore after dropping the call.
 
What's been up with this ROM... new nightlys come out every day... The theming part is what has me interested in this :)...
 
So... I've been trying this ROM out for a couple of days and besides the usual 4.2 bugs I believe that this ROM is stable enough for regular use... Calls have not dropped as they did for other people in previous versions... the way the settings panel is organized is pretty best also... Launcher has a like t of settings that third party one has so I did not have to install nova like I usually do... And they have gesture unlock now :D...

This ROM is stable enough for regular use... I posted pics of features above your post... It's stock android with miui theming basically... no ROM control settings or paranoid settings either... I found I could live without the myriad of options of which I barely used like two or three... Halo is kinda buggy so I didn't mind not having it... Just try it out... You will probably make a nandroid so you can always go back :)...

Don't know if this has been fixed, but just in case, you can download any other rom that has the Lockclock.apk like Carbon or Illusion, extract it from that rom and replace the one on Chaos with the one you extracted, change permissions, reboot and enjoy. uploadfromtaptalk1374343788601.jpg

Only thing that forced me away from it (temporarily I hope) is the exclusion of hybrid settings and halo... They should integrate it now that it's open source...
