I was able to use themes to change the status bar icons. You could do that and then change whatever else you want too

would really appreciate it if you could explain...i was trying to figure out what i needed to change the battery icon in the status bar and its driving me nutsI was able to use themes to change the status bar icons. You could do that and then change whatever else you want too

Lol rom toolbox pro but wasnt easy at first they wouldnt change just gotta keep trying to install the icons till it finally sticks also make a backup of stock icons lol im still trying to change signal bars and oh ive decompiled the systemui and saw the icons there ill probaly try my luck to swap them out later.
Ok cool I have that... I've tried like crazy to mess with system ui always crashes if I meet with anything... I've even tried jus changing just the png and no go

yes suppose to crash thats why it ask you if you want to reboot and your suppose to either restart system ui or reboot i usually do both.

So far everything is sticking except the battery icon isn't working fluidly by each percent. It's just doing its own thing dropping from 81 to 71 and now 57 lol. Went through twrp settings thinking I could clear battery stats and fix it but couldn't find the option.
Sorry to say that ROM toolbox doesn't replace system icons in newer android versions, to say nothing of touchwiz Roms, as well as it did for GB. I think it needs an update in that department.
