Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] SpeedTest.Net app?

Whenever I run this app it always chooses The server in Wichita KS.

But I live in Los Angeles CA, on the other side of the "nearest" server it picks.

Why is it picking that server and is there a way to remedy this?

I know you can go into the settings and pick a different server but the closest one is like texas

turn on your gps it does that sometimes also if u want your correct location download a speed booster app on the market and that will connect you to the nearest tower near your location.

+1 I always get a server less than a few miles away when I have my GPS on

Jus go into the app, exit it with the 'Back Button' and go to it again. Keep repeating that if it doesn't work the 1st time.. And make sure ur GPS is on.

Yeah I had GPS on, didnt make a difference unitl I turned location services on.
Then I had to restart the app a few times. It kept getting closer each time.
First time it was Texas, then Colorado then finally it got Los Angeles.
