Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] texting a video problem

Anyone know what's the deal with texting a video with the S3 on metro. even if I set my resolution to the min and set the video quality down to normal I cant text a video longer than 4 seconds. if I set the recording mode to limit for mms the video really sucks. my old lg connect with metro pcs I can text good quality.

Yea sorry that I cant help you. I dont use mms hardly ever and when I do its usually only pics.

Im sure there are others that mms more and can help you.

Perhaps you could provide more info? What rom are you running?

With MMS it is usually Carrier dependent. Try a 3rd party app. Go SMS Pro can be set for a max limit of 5MB, which is a small file as far a Video. I have an 11 second video and it is over 8MB is size and it will not send without down sampling. Anything larger should be uploaded to the cloud and a link send via SMS instead. It happen to be the nature of the antiquated beast.
