Would the updated leankernel (2.3) work for us? Because we, well I am using v2.1 and I dont see anyone talking about it on here, I cant find a good link for it. Its said to have improved battery life also, with some other stuff.

I believe that is for tw based roms, right? I believe shabby was using lean kernel on his phone. Could always make a backup and try it out if you download the right one.

It hasnt been updated past 2.1 so what you saw was probably the verizon version or something.

I believe it is for TW based roms, im using hyper drive and thats TW. Its really smooth and stable with lean kernel 2.1 cant wait for RLS13 of hyper drive.

I have a thread here for the AOSP version.

The short answer is that Verizon, US Cellular, and Metro PCS kernels should all be interchangeable. The last Verizon TW kernel was 2.3. MD5: b33402d5c47c2596a61b194ab741e3c4 Changelog. Backup before flashing.

So, the BMS AOSP kernel will work in a TW ROM? That was the link he was asking about.
