Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Video bitrate

How would I go about raising the bitrate on the video recorder for CM10? On the D3 all I had to do was go into build.prop and change it there, but I've never done it another way. JB Camera+ has the option for double bitrate but it just crashes when I enable it. Also, is it possible to get the TouchWiz camera on CM10? There's no touch focus when recording cause if you touch the screen it just takes a picture instead of there being a button for it. Thanks
