Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Weird write protection error (solved)

I didn't want to clutter up shabbys other thread with this so I decided to make a new one.

Ok so I flashed cwm via mobile Odin earlier.
Loading it up and attempted to make a backup to external sd.
It started said a few things then hung at "freeing up space done"
Stayed there for a while then my phone just restarted.

Didn't think too much of it other than it failed.

Loaded up the camera app and snapped a picture and got a message "unable to save to card, switching to phone memory"

I thought that was odd so I connected my phone to the computer and copied my photos to my computer so I didn't lose them.

Then I attempted to copy a photo to my memory card and it told me it couldn't because the disc is write protected.

I got my friends s3 and put my sd card in his phone and it worked without a hitch.
Then I put his 8gb in my phone and it worked just fine.

All this time I was at work. Once I got home I put my memory card in a usb reader and copied a movie with no problem.

I stuck my other sd card in (16gb) and downloaded 4.1.2 and flashed my phone again.

Put the problematic 32gb sd card back in and the same error was still happening.

So as a last resort I going to copy the contents to a computer and format it.

I don't have another 32gb card to test but I really hope my phone isnt broke to using one.

Also another thing to note is if I remove and stick the card back in load up my camera app it will save a couple photos to the card then a couple seconds later it will give me the error message.

Sorry for the rant.

Well I'm pretty sure I found the source of the problem

Only thing is when ever I try to right click the folder it crashes my file explorer.
So have about four more gigs to copy and then ima figure out how to format this damn thing. If it will even let me.

Good luck boss. Format thru phone or computer. Let me know if it works. Had friend do same thing. I farted with it bit was drunk. Not sure how I fixed it. But I did. Figured a sober answer would work.

Thanks. Finally got it to work.

I had to restart my computer and was able to format.
Solved my problem finally.
Now im in the process of copying all my files back.

When I formatted, I formatted it at packets of 8k.
Does anyone know if that was correct, or Should I have gone with a bigger one?

lol glad u went with my advice lol anyways yes whatever it was set on default

I think it was default at 14k but I lowered it to 8k because I read somewhere that was what to set it at. But the guy who said that wasn't too sure of himself.
