Help MetroPCS Easy Wifi Failed to Connect

So up to just now that app has been able to connect to my home network without any problems.

Now it says "Failed to connect" and the icon has an exclamation mark.

I haven't done anything different and as far as I can tell the wifi seems to work.

Any idea how I can fix this? I tried a phone restart and force stop and re-start the app and no fix.

EDIT: Now it reads "No account for 'My Network Name'"

Can you just go into the phone settings and choose WiFi and select your network and tell it to connect rather than use some carrier app.

Just tried it. I having the app not turn on when I connect to the wifi, but then a notification comes out and says "Tap to log in to hotspot network" and then the whole issue starts.

Again, the wifi seems to be connected, the annoyance is the Metro App.

EDIT: The app also says, "MetroPCS Easy WiFi [Offline]" Can't say I remember ever seeing that before.

go to settings > apps > select easy wifi and disable it. then try connecting to your network via settings. i've been with metro pcs for several years and imo, easy wifi is crap and i un-install it, along with the other metro stuff.

Its bloatware, next disabling it, delering it is the next best thing if you are rooted of course. The only upaide to that app id if you keep it running at all times it can automatically connect you to ppen wifi networks if they are available.

My phone always appear failed to connect metro wifi pcs and it always aopear force stop
But I was ablr to connect at my homr internet except for the metro pcs wifi is missing
