Help MetroPCS LG Motion 4G updates

I'm hoping this can help... Hi I'm trying to see if I can get a OS update from Ice Cream sandwich to Jelly Bean but it says "You're using the current OS." I don't know any other way to update it I called MetroPCS and they kept on changing subjects to try and get me on a family play for $5.00 extra does me not having the family play causing this?

There are no official updates for this phone and there aren't going to be. Your only option is to root the phone and flash a custom ROM, see the root section-
