Root [MetroPCS] Possible Data throttle kill?

I was browsing around in smanager and under data/system/data there's a throttle folder I'm wondering if I could get rid of them. There's also a usagestats folder and netstats I don't know if these folders have anything to do with data throttling and monitoring but it seems intriguing.

If you're running the stock rom, I wouldn't be surprised. But if you're running CarbonROM or Xperion, there's nothing to worry about. CarbonROM is based off of CM's open-source software, which would never have any kind of data harvesting built in. Xperion is based off Stock though, so it might. But I doubt GameTheory missed something like this.

Something you could do would be to go in to TWRP, create a full backup of your ROM, and delete this suspicious folder to see what happens. If you get a bootloop or crash, just restore your backup.

None of the roms here flash data, so that throttle stuff is not introduced by any rom. Plus you have to wipe data when you flash a rom. If it appears after the fact I don't know. If you want to delete it then just make a backup in twrp recovery first just in case you need to restore.
