Root [MetroPCS] supersu denies me permission

so i rooted my phone finally the LG Optimus f6 metro pcs and had a couple root checkers tell me im not rooted supersu does not like my phone is there another one besides superuser it doesnt like my phone either same issue the binary wut else can i use

Is SuperSU popping up when you run a root checker app? If not, the su binary isn't installed, which means that rooting didn't work (since that's about all rooting is - getting temporary root so you can copy su to a place you can only copy files if you have root permission).

If SuperSU is popping up, and you're telling it to allow the app to have root, there's a larger problem, since all SuperSU really does is return a "yes" or "no" to su, depending on which button you pressed.

No it is not popping up when i run the root checker, when i do open it it tells me the su binary needs to be updated so i hit continue then it asks how do i want to run it normal or TWRP/CWM which im not sure what that is so the first time i ran it normal and it tells me it didnt work so i try again and run it TWRP/CWM and then it tells me supersu will attempt to reboot your device but it never reboots

but yet im able to download apps that require root and i did have one root checker that told me i did have root
