Root [MetroPCS & T-Mobile] can i uninstall superuser with supersu?

Hi, I started to root with motochopper, didn't work. I then went to saferoot. I am new to this.. I opened supersu in my apps, and it said needed update, it wanted to uninstall other versions of the app, I said NO. (wrong?), then I realized after searching it must have wanted to uninstall superuser, now I have superuser and superSU on phone. Rooted. Can I uninstall superuser since saferoot installed superSU ( I think)...

I mainly want to free up memory for apps. Nothing fancy,

Any simple suggestions? I read all the info on the site on rooting (i've rooted before), but now with this phone I NEED to remove the bloat. No choice and I don't want to mess it up:-)

Thanks.

Decide which su app you want to use and ensure that both have superuser rights. Uninstall the su program you want to keep. Then install the su app that you want to use and allow updates and uninstalls when prompted.
