Root [MetroPCS & T-Mobile] MetroPCS system update/root

I've been rooted for a while and working great. Lately I've been getting prompted for system update on my phone. It fails due to root I'm sure. But it keeps popping up every day and if I ignore, it pops up every hour or so. Annoying. Is there away to do the update or at least stop it from prompting?
