Root [MetroPCS & T-Mobile] Mobile Hotspot? (metropcs)

I have the LG Optimus F3, MS65910c, from metroPCS. It has the option for hotspot and tether but when i try to turn on the hotspot it says i need to upgrade my plan. I had the same plan on my last phone and it did it fine. I know i dont have that on my plan but my phone is rooted, is there a way to get it to work?

Whether it works or not is in their database, so rooting has nothing to do with it. Evidently they changed the rules (as most carriers have been doing) so tethering will work only if you pay for it.

Yes just like a left shoe and a right shoe same thing different sides

Has anyone bothered to try ClockworkMod Tether. I know this works, as I have used it myself. Thing is though, whatever device you are tethered to, you will have to change the user agent of the browser to show it's an android device for you to surf the web. Don't know if this will work for game consoles though, don't have a console to test this on.
