Root [MetroPCS] vote for cm

Why? Because no one at Cyanogen wants to.

Remember, porting ROMs is a volunteer thing. People who want to do it, do it. Most people don't want to go out and buy a phone they'll never use, just to port a ROM to it. (You can't port a ROM to a phone without having the phone - there's no way to tell if it'll work if you don't.)

So people can vote all they want, but if no one who has the phone wants to (or can) port the ROM, it's not going to get ported. Since you have one, why don't you study a little, learn how to port a ROM and port the ROM to your phone?

Thanks for reply i have studied but i believe you need a lot of ram and hard drive but if you don't mind pointing me in the right direction with some links i will work on it got plenty of time and brains :-)

That guide isn't going to work. To port the rom there has to be at the very least an AOSP base rom. Which we don't have.

If he's gonna work on cyanogen he'll have to do it from scratch. There is no one guide that can teach anyone to build cm since it's different for every phone.

You'll have to build a device tree which is very tedious. Start in the following link...

How To Port CyanogenMod Android To Your Own Device - CyanogenMod

Good luck.

I just posted something he can get the feel of . you are correct nothing will guide you cause every phone is different. DPi and hdpi . and custom ROMs is very hard . calls for creating new and better . op is better off making a theme . porting take a lot and need to be tested. When I first did it the WiFi didn't work for 4weeks when I fixed WiFi the dammmmm thing didn't want to flash ..
