I have an HTC Eris and downloaded the application MEye to view my security cameras via the smartphone. After completion of the settings, the system activates only to tell me that "Connect to Server Failed" Funny thing is that the mfg of the DVR could access the cameras via her phone some 1000 miles away on an Android based phone using my connection settings. Uninstalled application and reinstalled but no different. Ran the same app on a Galaxy Nexus and entered the same settings. . . operated successfully. How come?
