Help MHL Wifi Interference

I'm using an HDMI MHL adapter from Monoprice to connect my One X to the TV. I've noticed that when I do this it causes the wifi to cut in and out. It never has a signal long enough to load anything significant. I don't have any problem connecting while charging the phone. Is anybody else having this problem?

This is just a guess but they may both be using 2.4Ghz for the connection and if so they will interfere with each other. I have this issue with my router/bridge and not xbox turtle beach headset. I have to turn the headset off when playing movies or the connection with drop out all the time.
