micro hdmi cable to hdtv

I have purchase a micro hdmi cable for my Lenovo Ideatab 9" tablet. I connected my tablet to my TV and it worked fine.

I thought I could use it on my Huawei Ascend Y300 as well. Wrong.
The micro hdmi does not fit into my phone.
I searched at ebay and I am not sure which one to purchase.
I am hoping to fine a "universal " cable that can be used on both my phone and tablet.
If not possible, please tell me how to buy one for my phone. A link would be great.

I tried a micro usb to hdmi cable with my Huawei Ascend Y300 and it didn't work , so I think you may struggle to find a cable to connect your Huawei Ascend Y300 to your TV.

I'm not sure the y300 supports HDMI out.. it isn't just a matter of the correct cable.. the hardware inside the phone needs to support it as well
