Help micro SD becomed write protected

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and my micro sd card keeps getting write protected.

when I'm moving a file to the sd card, using the phone, sometimes the phone will freeze up.

After that I am forced to pull the battery and then on the reboot the sd card becomes write protected. Happened 3 times, with 3 different sd cards. I have only had the phone for a little over a week now.

The card becomes write protected and I can't add files or deleted them. It doesn't work with using the phone, connecting the phone to the computer, or even using a card reader

First time it happened was when the phone was plugged into the computer. I was movie a few pics(total size about 10 mb) and the phone froze.

Second time was when i was using file manager to move a ringtone from the phone memory to the sd card.

Third time was when i was taking a picture. I set the phone to save the images to the sd card.

so each time it happened was when the phone was writing to the card.

Any idea why this happens or how to unlock the micro sd card?

I have just ran into this issue. I'm trying to delete a bunch of stuff on my sd card but it says it's write protected. Anyone have a clue about this issue? I'm surprised no one had an answer to this earlier.
