Micro SD Card Adapters

I own a Samsung Micro SD Card Adapter but my micro sd is from another company called Transcend. Will there be any notice in speed how it operates? Is it okay to use a micro sd card with a different companies adapter? When I bought the Micro SD Card it didn't come with an adapter.

Just for to round up :)

If your SD card has more than 2GB (4GB to 32GB) then it's a SDHC. And then your reader should labeled SDHC too.
