Micro sd card don't mint

Ater

Lurker
I've tried installing an old micro sd and the phone did not recognize it. I'm wondering if maybe I installed it incorrectly due to the unique card slot the phone has directly over the SIM. I hope it isn't a compatibility issue as I've read some phones are not compatible with certain brands. I'm using a sandisk micro sd 16gb.

do you have anything else like a tablet or another phone you can put that card in to see if they read it?

I just resolved my issue. It turns out the card was not fully inserted. I met resistance partway about halfway and after checking the installation I found I could push it past what I imagine to be a metal lip in the slot. The phone had no issues recognizing it, all's well :)

I also made an error with the card's make.It is I'm fact a Samsung.

Note to any users that also have this problem. Check the format of the micro sd card. For android to be able to read the card it must be formatted to the correct fat32 format. This is for users that have also experienced this problem but turns out the card is fully inserted
