Help micro sd card help

okay my evo has not been working properly with my micro sd card. IDK why but it just started not to long ago but sometimes it wont read my micro sd card..

if anyone have/had this issue please lmk

My HTC did this, I tried formatting it and then putting everything back on but it was still the same, I have now bought a new card and it seems to work OK .
 
Is it the 8gb that originally came with the phone? Or did you get a new one? I know some digital cameras have issues with certain brands of cards. I haven't had any issues with the one that came with my phone.
 
I buy/sell electronics and often end up with extra SD cards and things like that. Recently tried some of the little 2GB micro SD cards I had and they have the same issue you described.

Now matter what device they were in the would only be recognized some of the time. I formatted them multiple times, in Windows and Android.

Currently using a PNY class 6 16GB without any issue.

Probably just a bad SD card. You can find 8GB around the web for a few bucks, 16GB for around $10 and you can usually find 32GB for around $20.
