Micro SD card [ tablet see it, PC don't?]

Pretty much thats it, put new 8 gig class 10 into tablet and it says hey, I can see that.

Ok put it in the pc to put files on it, I want on the tablet, but the PC don't see it.

Let me guess, tablet can see a new unformated card but PC, can't.

How do I format it if PC can't see it?

nope, only an unmount option. no format.

guess I could try it in my OV, but will it flip out when the files n apps it has moved there are gone?

when I put back its SD card with said files n apps, will it all be as it was?

I'm more confident answering for phones.

The tablet makers, especially the budget-conscious models, make a lot of configuration changes away from what many of us consider standard Android. So I don't want to advise you in any harmful way.

Maybe we can try this - what's your exact make and model? Maybe if we have an active forum for users of the same, I could steer you to them for firsthand advice? (Is it that T02 device you listed?)

PS putting back your original SD card should make it behave as if nothing was changed.

Well what about the idea of using my optimus V to format the card, will the V flip out when apps and such that were moved to the SD are not there?

when its done formating and the original card is put back, will all be fine?

Sorry, don't know, will let someone else handle that one.

Does your PC have a card slot? The more I think about it, the odder it sounds that you can't format on the PC.

In a Ed Mcman sort of way, you are correct sir.

that slot must be acting up on my multi slot thingy in my PC.

Tried my portable card reader and walla there it is, strange. [Used that card slot on my pc fine a week ago.]

Hi oh! :D

OK, so does that sort it out? You can use another slot to format? (or try powering down the PC for a few minutes, could be a stuck bit)
