Help microphone problem. in need of serious help! :(

hello. i currently own a samsung intercept. the problem i am having has to do with the microphone. when i dial from a VoIP number the microphone does not work. the speakers are fine. i can hear out of it but when i speak the other person can not hear me. why does my microphone not work? this is making me depressed

I don't know why your microphone doesn't work but, out of curiosity, are you able to record your voicemail message, speakerphone or use one of those voice memo programs from the Market? Note Everything can record voice messages.

I'm hoping it's some kind of a settings issue.
