microphone problem

Hi I have a galaxy s3 pebble blue with sprint and my problem is that my microphone doesn't work when I take videos. When I call someone, they can hear me perfectly and it doesn't happen when taking a vine video. It only doesn't work while taking a video. Help me please. Thank you

I don't have an S3, so not familiar with the options, but I presume you have done the obvious and checked the settings of the camera app to make sure that sound recording isn't off or muted in the app?

Otherwise, has it never worked or did the problem just appear? If the latter, was there an update before the problem started (in which case that might be the cause)? If you can't spot a cause I guess you could try "clear data" for the camera app (not a full factory reset, just clear the app's data) to see whether that fixes some corrupt setting. Never met this problem, so just a generic suggestion.

Maybe try downloading a recording application that would be an alternative to the Camera application.

Try Google's Camera app too.
