Help MicroSD - Cant format/mount

I can't format or mount my microsd card. I purchased a 32gb card on Amazon. Initially it worked but up until today I believe I might have fried it. Well I switched out my memory stick with another to transfer an to my friend. I placed the 32gb card back on my phone and it came up as a "blank sd" which I cannot format or mount.

I had the "SD as internal memory" feature enabled on CTMod. I believe this is what might have destoyed my card. I cannnot use an adapter because it does not function with my PC. Also using a usb cable will not do much either. What are my options ?
 
Yup. I'm with Palmtree. Get a working micro sd adapter and try to format using your PC.

One more thing. Make sure that the lock is off on the sd card adapter or you will not be able to do anything with the card.

I never used my SD card as internal memory. Lifespans of the flash memory cards are measured in read/write cycles. Using it as memory and using the phone a lot would do a lot of read/write on the card.

Your card might be dead. Do you have a camera that fits the card (might need an adapter)? Do you have a different phone that you can borrow to try and format your card or perhaps you have a spare phone?

File System was changed to RAW
 
As Kolossos said sDcards have a lifespan and ur card might be dead, but ...

I have noticed that my SD cards can be finicky. They might like one adapter and not another. Also I have cards that only work in certain devices and keep in mind I am talking cards that are stock and have not been formatted to new file-systems.
 
Have you tried downloading sdformatter I was having similar issue myseld I got a USB stick that takes SD cards this helped me :) but Idk

Have you tried CWM - Advanced > Partition SD?

Edit: If you do CWM - mounts and storage > mount USB with USB cable attached, does your PC recognize it? If yes, what size/file system does it show up as?

Even thought this thread is old I'll second Panasonic sdformatter. Google is your friend. Just be aware that that program will un-partition your card.
