Help MicroSD Problem

I have 64gb SanDisk MicroSD in my S3 and am not able to save/transfer anything to it. Currently it is about half full (music mostly) and I had been using it as my primary storage space for camera pictures and backups (Titanium and SMS) but it won't let anything write to the card. I can play music off of it and access any of the current pictures, but that's it.
I'm running the most recent stable release of CM10 (10.1.3 which is Android 4.2.2).
Is there somewhere in the settings that sets the card as read only?

Thanks for any help! I think I might move everything on the card to my computer, format the card and transfer back (using a SD card adapter not the phone sync) and see if that hopefully fixes it.

Its not something i know much about but if (like me) you dont want to post on XDA, try the G+ Cyanogen community. They are still pricks on there but there are a lot of helpful people too. Best of luck

P.s. activate Dev Options (do you know how on 4.3?) And enable root for apps and adb.
