Microwave question

Need a little help from people....getting an above the stove microwave put in here at the house. I plan on doing it myself. For those of you that have them can you please post how many inches from the bottom of the microwave to the stovetop. Thanks!!!

I'd think at least 2 feet...

No wait I'm wrong... it looks like it might be 30 inches.

You can technically put them only like a foot and a half and it still be safe.. but it should be like martimus said, almost 3 feet above. When you install a microwave over a stove your pretty much sacrificing convinence for space, so typically you see them pretty high up. So if you have kids, plan on them never being able to reach it till they are like 14.

i had to replace one over 6 months ago.. it was not that hard.
had to do an installation, because it was not the same setup.

go to your HomeDepot or whatever is in your area.. they will answer all your questions

30 inches at least, and are you putting a range top fan under the microwave?

took a look at that microwave forum. I've seen it as low as 18 inches. Wow!!!
