MID Tablet Helix Problem

Hi there, my MID tablet is continuously coming up with the message "The application HelixLauncher DONUT (processcom.helixproject.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." with a "Force Close" button that doesn't do anything when you press it other than pop straight back up again. I have tried the time honoured IT Help Desk option of switch it off and switch it back on again, no joy. I have tried the reset button, still no joy. I have tried pressing the Home and Menu buttons in between the pressing of the "Force Close" button and it popping back up, no joy. I can't launch the Browser nor can I go into Market to load another version of Helix. Other than the liberal administration of a hammer to the device, does anyone have any suggestions as to what might solve this problem?

Sounds like your tablet is running Android 1.6. What brand/model Android tablet do you have?

Hi, you are abasolutely right, it says Android version 1.6 on the launch page. It is a 7" Mid Tablet, it also says kernel version 2.6.29 and WMT SDK version WMT2.0 on the launch page. On the back of the tablet it says M-001 & RoHS. Here is a link to one of them on Amazon: -
