Root Midway Through S Off

Right now I was just doing the S Off tutorial, but now after doing the wire trick, it's telling me to "open device manager and check adb and/or fastboot drivers!!" I think I forgot to put in the drivers and saw that you need windows 7 (I'm on Vista right now). Is it okay to just unplug my phone and redo it on a windows 7 computer, or is there a way to fix this?

yep,, unplug your phone...

you are able to do this on both vista and 7 so no worries there...

and next time read the instructions a couple of times so you know you got everything installed and prepared cause bricking your phone can be a consequence...

Thanks, I got it to work after unplugging. It was just that no matter how many times I clicked to install the driver, it would not load, so I thought I could get it to work without it. I did everything on a different computer and it worked well.

Glad it worked out for you but as David said if something in the guide isn't working for you, backtrack and correct it, not just charge forward and ignore the issue. The outcome might not be as positive the next time.
