Help MiFi

I am considering turning off my Verizon WiFi and using my Droid X as a MiFi device to connect to the internet with my computer. I've got to do some price checking first, but I think I would come out ahead financially.

My question is speed. Have any of you done this? And if so, were you satisfied with the speed your computer connected with the new setup?

One thing to keep in mind about tethering is that it has something like a 5gb monthly cap on data. The MiFi, I believe, is capped at something like 10gb per month. In addition to looking at the economics you should also consider data usage...

I hadn't thought about the limit. That would probably be a problem. Guess I'll keep what I have.
