migrating and saving icon positions?

on my samsung - my desktop is well organized ..

(folders and coresponding icons/programs are inside ..)

can take a while to set it up..

is there any software that will let me save/restore such?

I guess it's OS / home screen flavor specific?

I am on Galaxy note 3

I know some third party launchers will allow you to export / import your settings and setup I'm not sure if you can with your default launcher or not. Some backup programs will also save these settings for you but you will have to try them out to see which one is more for your uses.

Even though you have a samsung I'm moving this to the Android Lounge as other users of other devices may also look for information about saving the "desktop" that they worked so hard to maintain.

I use the SSLauncher app and it saves all my settings and folders the way I have them. I also use Titanium Backup which also saves those settings.
