Root MikG Slow Apps from SD Card?

Anyone else having this problem?

I moved all of my apps that can be moved over to my SD card which is about every one of the ones I downloaded from the Market using that free app that Amazon gave a while back for free. Anywho...so all of my apps are on the SD card.

So when I boot up my phone or I unhook the phone from "Disk Drive" my icons are not really there for some of the apps. You know, when you are connected via "Disk Drive", you cannot load the apps, music, etc. that are on the SD card because it is in use. But the wait is forever. On most ROMs that I have used, the wait was 15 seconds at the most, with this one, it could still be "loading apps" for over 15 minutes! And it seems to get slower each time and it has me a bit worried. Right now, my apps still haven't loaded after 30 minutes. I don't know how to reload them or if I should dismount the SD card then remount it or not. When I go into Settings and view the SD card area, it shows my SD card and all and has the correct information but doesn't load my apps.

Anyone know how to do a manual refresh of the SD card or some other fix?

..how dumb. Uh this is embarrassing lol it wasn't loading for over 30 minutes because the thing never changed from "disk drive" back to "charge" when I told it to.

But anyway, is there anyway to do a manual refresh of the SD card? It does take a while usually. I thought 30 minutes was a bit much.

Do you physically change it from disk drive to charge only before removing?

Do you physically change it from disk drive to charge only before removing?

I "safely remove" it from the computer first then do the second on the phone. I used to do it the other way around which was just take it off the phone by changing it from "hard drive" to "charging" until I kinda messed up my memory card.
