Mileage Tracker

I recently got an android phone and have been trying to find a mileage tracker (giving mpg or similar) as I like to track this information but have been unable to find one that does both miles and kilometers as I have two cars I want to track. One is in miles (imported from the US) and one is in kilometers. I was using Auto 3in1 on my desktop but I would like something for my new phone. It seems that most have one or the other as it seems to be a global setting and not per vehicle. Does anyone know of an application that lets you set different settings per vehicle? Thansk for any help.

Free 'SpeedHUD', in the market. But it doesn't save readouts, so you'll have to do ypur own logging. Maybe you can set something up with Tasker.

Sorry maybe I wasn't clear what I was looking for but it's more of a miles per gallon type of application but I need one where you can put in one car using miles and a second car with kilometers. Don't know if there's any such thing but this is what I need. Thanks

If you don't find an app that converts for you, can't you pretty easily convert miles to kilometers?

Yeah but I do have one on my computer that uses separate tracking for each vehicle which is kind of handy. Just seeing if there is one for the android. Thanks

That one looks like it's soely for speed and that's not what I'm looking for but thanks for the info.

I use aCar to track my MPG, but it seems that the miles/kilometers setting on it is global, not per vehicle. You could always go into settings and switch it to whichever you need for the car you are filling up. but I think that might be the best you will find. Not too many people have a mixed bag of vehicles like you do, so that probably just doesn't come up enough for devs to even think of it.

That's why I recommended 'SpeedHUD'. It gives you miles and kilometers, speed and distance. Just ignore speed. With Tasker you should be able to extend the rest to automatically compute mpg or kpl and save it to a log. Or even upload that log to your PC in the background, so that your data are sitting pretty and waiting for you there when you get back home.

I use this .... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evancharlton.mileage&hl=en .... and my car uses miles (UK). It can support multiple cars but don't know if they can have their own 'units'. But it's free so easy enough for you to check ....
