Help Millions of emails coming through

Hi,
My neighbour has just bought a Galaxy S4.
He set up his email accounts( he is a mod for local Free Recycle site- Freegle ).
Since then, he has had a few thousand emails come to his phone and laptop. If he wipes them off the laptop or phone, they keep coming back.
All I could suggest was to un sync his email accounts, then deal with them one by one.
Has anyone else any ideas, please ??

You haven't provided anything like enough information for us to be able to help with this.

How many accounts does he have? Are they IMAP or POP? Do all of the accounts have large numbers of email? Which email client is he using? Are just the headers coming through or the whole emails?

I could go on but you will have to be a lot more specific as to exactly what is going on here.

All sorted now-----he hadn't set up imap incoming and outgoing properly.
The Virgin bloke in hq talked him through it.
