Help mind of its own?

Just purchased this phone last week. Overall I love it, but it seems to have a mind of its own, switching screens whether on the main screen, facebook, news feed, etc... Seems almost like someone is out there selecting screens and having a good laugh at my expense. Is this a setting issue or what cause it is starting to drive me crazy?
 
It automatically moves from the main page to weather, or to the clock page and then to the alarm, etc.... If I am on facebook it will move from the news feed and select a post and act as though I am trying to comment to the post. I can see it "select" an option. If I am on news feed it will select and article and go to that information as though I selected it but didn't. It just now went so far as to cycle through selections and try to call someone. Now it is just cycling through cities for weather and if I select for it to go back it will then go back to the same area again, ugh!!!!!!!!!!
 
I am glad you posted that. I thought I was the only one. When I move my phone from my ear after a call, and I have it out, it just starts switching screens on me as well. It also freezes alot. I have only had mine for about 1 1/2 months thinking of going back to iphone.
 
To the two who had this problem - Did you get new phones and/or get the problem resolved? My wife's phone is doing the same thing. It looks like a remote user is controlling the phone. Phone is pretty much unusable.

Phone is only a week old.
