MineCraft PE

[7889loopie]

Hello people of A.F!!!! Im new here but have a thing to ask......
i "got" minecraft PE and it has a multiplayer function and when i click it it just says searching for wifi games..... but never finds one.... why?..

[Rukbat]

It's probably looking for someone else playing multi-player.

Why bother with multiplayer? 256 x 256 is too small for ONE player, let alone two or more.

[7889loopie]

well i bother because you would use 2 phones mine and the persons im playing with...... i love minecraft

I believe you both have to be on a local WiFi connection.

Yes, You should be on the same Wi-Fi Connection to play multiplayer.

Yeah the main reason they added that is so that you can play with your friends connected on the same wifi connection. It doesn't work like regular minecraft where you can connect to a server across the world (potentially). You have to be connected to the same wifi as the other person playing, which stinks, but it's a cool concept to get you and your friends playing together.

I know that my school wifi is across all of campus and some of my friends and I get on periodically during the day and it's really awesome because we don't all have to be in the same building.
