Minor e-mail glitch

The inbox number displayed for my dirreent e-mail aco****s is off for some reason and I can't seem to find any way to reset it. I am using an LG Optimus V and everything is stock including the e-mail app I am using.

My personal e-mail account shows that I have one new e-mail all the time. One of my work e-mails doesn't show new e-mail at all unless there is more than three and the other one shows 1 e-mail in the trash folder even after all have been deleted.

Any suggestions?

Couldn't quite make out the client(if that's what the site filters didn't like)
Lets try this-go into the email app you are using-settings-manage applications-all
Select the app and when it opens select the options to clear cache and data. See if that fixes it for you. Had to do it with my Gmail app today as it was doing some odd things.
