Miracast Dongle Smartphone WiFi Display TV

Emanuel, are you still having great success with this item?

The way I understand it, it streams the audio and video from my Samsung S4 thru a direct wifi connection and no wifi network someone might have in their home is required, correct? Reason I ask is that I don't have an internet or wifi service at my home since I have a smartphone. If I want to access the internet on my PC, I just tether my S4 to my PC w/ FoxFi.

Does the Wifi Direct connection work with streaming your Windows 8.1 to your HDTV?

Thanks for any help you can provide. It's been hard to figure out some of this info and if a certain dongle is reliable. Plus I like the price on this item. Other dongles that run around $30 are way over in China.

miracast cast work with the interner of the phone i tested and windows 8.1 you pc wifi have the miracast opcion to work
