Accessories Mirror Screen Protector is great!

But the accompanying rainbow effect is giving me headaches. Does anyone understand why or has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do or is there any mirror screens that don't suffer from this?

If you don't like the rainbow effect my suggestion would be to stay away from the purple pills. :p

Seriously, I have one from www.handhelditems.com and I get the same effect, it's even worse with polarized glasses on. I've gotten used to it, seen my fair share of rainbow effects in my day. LOL

I did not like how it reduced the brightness if the screen. SO i took it off.. got clear..
much better.

But now.. thinking I might go naked! :P ;)

From what I have seen... these screens are tough!

Yep they are pretty tough but I would much rather scratch some cheap protector than the actual screen. Cheap insurance if you ask me. :p

I got mine from the same place (handheld) and loved it for the first week, but then the sun started shining again and it was impossible to see in my car or outside.

Got the same one myself, hated the tacky feel and rainbow effect in bright light, gave it to my friend, he hated it and tossed it out. Not recommended by me.

We've each now had nothing on our screens for months and no scratches.

i ordered the privacy screen ones from HandHeldItems as well, and i cant use the phone now. i had to take it off. it wouldnt recognize my swipes or anything.

I threw it away, so no pic, sorry. But I will say I thought it looked pretty cool when the screen was off. However when it was on the polarizing effect was very annoying. IMO this is a don't bother item.

and one have a pic of it on your phone?

Both were taken with the flash off. With the flash on all you see is reflection. :p

you have to be very careful when putting the screen protector on your phone.. it's not that easy and if you don't do it right, then the image on the screen proctector will be distorted... that happened to me when I got a screen protector for my HTC diamond a while back..

Just get Skinomi TechSkin, best protector ever. If you scratch it, the scratch will be repaired by it's self the next day. And it comes with a lifetime warranty.

New Arrivals - Sprint HTC Hero

If you get the one that covers the full phone it makes it impossible to put a case on. But if you do get the one that covers the full phone you get a cover for the front buttons that almost makes the green and red buttons smooth, and a cover for the back camera part.

Edit: They are also a few dollars cheaper on Amazon
