Help Mirror to smart TV

At present I have an iPad and am thinking of changing to a Samausng Galaxy Note as I have ditched my iPhone for an LG G2 and like it better.

Is it possible to mirror the image i.e. watch videos and BBC iPlayer etc from the Galaxy Note 10.1 to an LG smart TV?

I use Miracast on an LG G2 SmartPhone

Samsung galaxy note 10.1 does support screen mirroring. The exception is Google play movies and TV will make you unpin the movie from your device locally forcing you to stream it from your data plan or Internet connection instead of playing off-line.

It also only works with Samsung smart TVs and Blu-ray players .
