Does miscellaneous files delete my music ?

Very possible. And photos. And files. I avoid deleting MISC files like the plague, because other members have done so and lost critical things.

I never delete anything except photos and documents...
if it is not in a folder that I created or the Download folder, I don't mess with it.
never had a phone crash.
