Help Missed texts - no notifcation

I have Handcent on my Epic 4g Touch and ICS, as well. I've recently set Handcent to remind me of texts 5 mins after receiving them because I was missing them, somehow.

Before ICS, I used to just pull out my phone, see a pink led and know that I had a message. I pulled out my phone several times today, no led, put it away. Turned out, I actually had 5 unread text messages. Why was the led light not on?

I'm having the same issue since ICS. I have handcent as well. Checked my notifications several times and they are on yet I'm not getting my notifications.

You should try downloading the NoLed App. It works great, it plays a sound and floats a bright colored icon around your screen when you get a text, voicemail or email or a combo of those three. It is also very customizable. My notifications lights work fine but you have to be very close to the phone to see them. With NoLed, you can see the icons(whose size you can select) on your screen from across the room.
