Help Missing Album Art

Have just loaded my music files onto my SII and much of the album art appears to be missing - only a fraction of it is showing. I have diligently tagged all of my songs with album art using MP3Tag and the album art was all present on my iPod Touch, but that doesn't appear to be the case for my SII. I've checked to see if there is anything that distinguishes between songs that are showing the art and ones that aren't and there isn't any difference - it's all quite random as far as I can tell. What's really weird is that I copied my music to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as well and some of the album art that is missing from display on my SII is showing on the Tab and vice versa. Any ideas about what might be wrong and what I need to do to fix it? I spent ages copying album covers as jpegs using MP3Tag and I'm hoping I don't have to start again! Thanks.

I use Cover Art Downloader - free on the market - with great success. Only needs to run once and does all the tagging for you :)

does it show if u open it in itunes? and is it in mp3 format? i used to have my itunes library in m4a, and perfectly organized in itunes, but it was a mess on my android. had to convert the entire thing to mp3, and it works perfectly. on all android music players.

I use iTag, you can edit all the ID3 tags right from your phone, so if you download from certain sources, won't name the apps I use to download songs from, but some have stupid tags, also I have certain custom 'mixtapes' on my phone, for instance if I have random songs, I put them into a generic album, i.e. rock/metal mix, has songs which I generally don't want the full albums for.

Hi,
Did you get a solution to your album artwork on the Samsung? I have exactly the same problem.
Thanks in advance
