Help Missing apps after update.. I think.

Hey guys!
I've recently bought a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 (got it just over a month ago) and I've been loving it. I've had next to no problems with it so far, but the other day I decided I wanted to buy/rent a movie on my device. According to samsung, there's a lovely little app for that.. The "media hub." Apparently, this app is supposed to be loaded onto your device when you apply the touchwiz update.. I couldn't find it, so I assumed I didn't have the update.

I did, however, download some sort of update whenI got the device. I've done some digging online, and it looks like I do infact have the touchwiz update. I've got the nice UI with the screenshot button ect. However, I do not appear to have many of the apps the update is meant to load onto the tab. The media hub, the readers hub.. Samsung said it was supposed to load kindle onto your phone for you, but I had to manually download it myself.

I honestly have no idea what's going on.. I read somewhere that Samsung pulled the update. I'm just really really confused, if anyone could clear up what's going on or just explain why I dont have these apps/if infact I do have the touchwiz update, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

They're not apps actually, they're widgets you can add to your homescreens. You need to look in the widgets section when adding them to a screen. Just tap the plus sign (+) in the top right and then tap on Widgets. Flick through the several pages of widgets available and add them as needed.

Once added to your screens, you then configure the hub widgets to pull the data you want. For instance, the Social Hub is a widget to display Twitter, Facebook, etc. information.

If you have a screenshot button, the quick apps in the bottom of the tray and quick access to settings by touching the clock area, then you have the TouchWiz user interface installed. It should have come preinstalled since you bought it a month ago and the TouchWiz update was available back in early August.

There is another small update available for Verizon users with LTE, but not for WiFi users.
