Help missing apps and uninstalling

Shut down your device, then power back up and check your app drawer and applications manager (menu > settings > applications > manage applications).
If it's a widget, rather than a true application, it may or may not have an icon in the app drawer to begin with, and sometimes that icon is for configuration, not for starting the app, so be sure to look in the applications manager, where it can be uninstalled via the uninstall button.
